Photobooth & show: “HUSH”
I’ll be working my photobooth magic at my friend’s improv show tonight. If you’re in Hawaii come down, they’re hilarious and this show is one-of-a-kind! Here’s the info and some PR shots I did for them:
ON THE SPOT presents their latest in their catalogue of improvised show formats: “HUSH.” The cast of four will improvise a live action 1920’s silient movie set in the style of some of the silent movies biggest stars of the day like Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Mary Pickford, and Douglas Fairbanks.Hush captures all the charm and nostalgia of the silent movie era with strong characters, physicality, title cards, and musical accompaniment.
The Group is encouraging audience members to get in the spirit of the silient era by asking them to get dressed up in 1920’s period costumes for a $4 dollar discount off of the general admission. A 1920’s old style photo booth will be set up for audience memebers wnating to take home a keep sake of the show
ON THE SPOT comedy troupe brings to you HUSH, the group’s first ever silent movie improv show. Watch as they create an entire play influenced by the style of the silent movie era. Filled with Garbo drama, Chaplin comedy, as well as musical improvisation with Art Koshi, this newest show from ON THE SPOT guarantees to wow, bewilder, and take you through a hilarious journey without saying a word.
